Seamless pipes are extruded from a solid steel billet, leaving no weld seam. Welded (ERW) pipes are formed by rolling a steel plate into a cylinder and welding the seam. They are more cost-effective, have highly uniform wall thickness, and are perfect for structural use and lower-pressure fluid transport.
SHS stands for Square Hollow Section, and RHS stands for Rectangular Hollow Section. These are welded steel tubes used primarily for structural framing. Their flat surfaces make them much easier to join and weld compared to round pipes, offering excellent strength-to-weight ratios for building construction.
3PE stands for Three-Layer Polyethylene. It is an advanced anti-corrosion coating used on buried oil, gas, and water pipelines. It consists of an epoxy primer, an adhesive layer, and a tough polyethylene outer layer. 3PE provides excellent resistance to moisture, soil chemicals, and mechanical damage during backfilling.
