Copper Rod
Round copper rod with C10100/C10200/C11000/C12000 model options, mill polished and tin-plated surface features, customized specifications, and processing support for bending, welding, cutting, punching, and decoiling.
Copper is an indispensable industrial metal, prized for its exceptional electrical conductivity, superior heat transfer capabilities, and natural antimicrobial properties. When alloyed with zinc to create brass, it offers outstanding machinability and corrosion resistance.
At Luyuan Steel, we act as a premier stockist for non-ferrous metals. We supply a comprehensive range of pure copper (such as C1100) and phosphorus-deoxidized copper (C1220) tailored for the HVAC and refrigeration sectors. Our inventory includes seamless pipes, flat plates, precision slit coils, and solid rods. Whether you need soft-annealed tubes for air conditioning lines or hard brass rods for CNC machining, we deliver materials that meet strict international standards.

For the power and electronics sectors, conductivity is everything. We supply high-purity oxygen-free copper (C1020) and electrolytic tough pitch copper (C1100) with guaranteed minimum copper content of 99.9%, ensuring minimal electrical resistance for busbars and transformers.
We stock phosphorus-deoxidized copper tubes (C1220/TP2) specifically engineered for the HVAC industry. These tubes offer excellent weldability and brazing characteristics, and are fully compatible with modern high-pressure refrigerants like R410a.
Our brass rods and sheets offer the perfect balance of strength and machinability. By strictly controlling the zinc and lead content, we provide brass materials that allow for high-speed CNC machining with minimal tool wear.
Depending on your application, the physical state of the copper matters. We supply fully annealed (Soft/O) copper pipes that can be easily bent by hand for plumbing, as well as hard-drawn (H) pipes for straight, rigid installations.
As a processing center, we don't just sell raw materials. We offer precision slitting for copper coils, cut-to-length services for plates and rods, and protective PVC film application to ensure your materials arrive ready for immediate manufacturing.
Optimize your manufacturing workflow by utilizing our in-house copper processing services:
| Coil Slitting | Precision slitting of thin copper and brass strips for electrical stamping |
| Plate Shearing & Cutting | Custom cutting of thick copper plates for heat sinks and busbars |
| Pipe Bending & Flaring | Basic processing of copper tubes for HVAC and refrigeration components |
| Rod Chamfering | Chamfering the ends of brass rods for smooth feeding into CNC lathes |
| Surface Protection | Application of protective films to prevent oxidation and scratches |
High-purity C1100 copper is the standard for electrical busbars and transformer windings. C1220 tubes are essential in HVAC and refrigeration system manufacturing.
Copper and brass fittings, valves, and connectors are critical components in water treatment plants, power distribution networks, and industrial pipeline systems.
C1100 (Tough Pitch Copper) has very high electrical and thermal conductivity, making it ideal for electrical applications like busbars. However, it contains trace amounts of oxygen, which can cause embrittlement if welded. C1220 (Phosphorus-Deoxidized Copper) has the oxygen removed, making it highly suitable for welding and brazing. This is why C1220 is the standard choice for HVAC and plumbing pipes.
Pure copper is highly conductive, relatively soft, and has a reddish-orange color. Brass is an alloy of copper and zinc. The addition of zinc makes brass much harder, stronger, and more machinable than pure copper, while giving it a yellowish-gold color. Brass is typically used for valves, fittings, and machined parts.
We supply both. For smaller diameters (typically under 7/8″), we offer soft-annealed “pancake coils” or Level Wound Coils (LWC), which are easy to unroll and bend. For larger diameters or structural applications, we supply hard-drawn straight lengths (usually 3m or 6m).
